Community Nights is weekly collaborative project between Heartwood Soundstage and South Main Station featuring free live music, production skill sharing, and activities, plus a local makers’ market on the first Community Night of every month. But these events are so much more than the sum of their parts. They are a pause in the middle of the week, an evening to enjoy good music, great food and drink, run into an old friend, or make a new one. It is a calling card of the community that we are trying to build; a place for running kids, impromptu picnic dinners, buying gifts from local artists, and dogs that have been in the house all day.
